These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of tidesteam.com (the "Site") and the services provided by Tides Team Exteriors ("Tides Team," "we," "us," or "our"), a roofing and exteriors contractor based in Summerville, South Carolina. By using the Site, submitting a form, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Tides Team provides residential and commercial exterior services including roof replacement, roof repair, storm and insurance claim assistance, fencing, gutters, and related exterior work across Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester Counties in the South Carolina Lowcountry. All work is performed under a separate written service agreement or approved estimate that describes the specific scope, materials, pricing, and warranties for your project. If these Terms conflict with a signed service agreement, the signed agreement controls for that project.
Exterior work is weather-dependent. Scheduled dates may shift due to rain, wind, storm events, or material availability. We will communicate schedule changes as early as possible by phone, email, or text message.
Payment terms, deposits, and schedules are stated in your service agreement or invoice. Invoices are due upon the terms stated on them. We may send quote, invoice, and billing links by email or text message. Financing options may be available and are subject to third-party lender approval and terms.
Material warranties (including TAMKO shingle system warranties) are provided by the manufacturer and are subject to the manufacturer's terms and registration requirements. Workmanship warranties are stated in your service agreement. Warranties do not cover damage caused by subsequent storms, alterations by others, or lack of routine maintenance.
When we assist with a storm damage insurance claim, we document damage, meet your adjuster, and perform work approved under the claim scope. The insurance policy is a contract between you and your carrier; coverage decisions are made by your carrier, and you remain responsible for deductibles and any non-covered items you approve.
By providing your phone number through our website forms, over the phone, or in a signed service agreement, you consent to receive text messages from Tides Team Exteriors related to your service, including service updates, appointment reminders, quote and invoice links, and billing messages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tides Team Exteriors is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site. Liability related to performed work is governed by your service agreement and applicable South Carolina law. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under law that cannot be waived.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any disputes arising from them will be handled in the state courts located in Berkeley or Dorchester County, South Carolina, unless your service agreement states otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
